Claude Code Community for Builders | Stride AI Academy

A community for Claude Code users who build tools and apps for clients. Weekly live calls, an AI coding course and 200+ free guides. Not affiliated with Anthropic.

Stride AI Academy is a Claude Code community for people who build real tools for real clients. Members learn Claude Code and Codex in the Stride AI Coding course, bring their builds to weekly live calls, and share what's working. It's independent and not affiliated with Anthropic.

A Claude Code community built around client work

Plenty of places talk about Claude Code. This one is for people using it to get paid: agency owners, freelancers and operators who build dashboards, internal tools and web apps for businesses.

That focus shapes the conversations. Questions here sound like "how do I hand this over so the client can't break it" or "how do I scope this so it doesn't eat my weekend", as well as "why did the agent rewrite my config file".

The Academy has about 1.2K members on Skool. It sits next to three other courses: automation, operations and sales. When a build turns into a client project, the help is in the same place.

What you get inside

  • Stride AI Coding. A course on using Claude Code and Codex to build custom tools for clients and ship them live, written for non-programmers. It covers the workflow around the AI as well: GitHub for version control, Vercel for deploys and Supabase when a project needs a database. See the course.
  • Weekly live calls. Bring a stuck build, a scoping question or a client problem. You get it reviewed live.
  • A template vault. Prompts, workflows and SOPs you can copy into client work.
  • The community. Builders sharing what's working right now, every day.
  • StrideOps. The AI operating system Josh Pocock's companies run on, included with your plan (a trial on Standard, the Operator plan on Premium).

Who it's for

  • You build, or want to build, software for clients and you'd rather describe it than hand-code it.
  • You already use Claude Code or Codex and want people to compare notes with who do the same kind of work.
  • You run an agency and want to add custom tools to what you sell.

It's a weaker fit if you want a free Q&A forum about Claude Code in general. Anthropic's own Claude community and the r/ClaudeCode subreddit are better for that, and they're free.

Josh publishes a written guide for almost every video he makes, and many of them are about Claude Code: skills, MCP servers, running agents in parallel, taking an app live on your own domain. The whole library is free. Get the free guides.

FAQ

Is this the official Claude Code community?

No. Stride AI Academy is an independent community for people who use Claude Code. It isn't run, affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Anthropic runs its own community at claude.com/community.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The Stride AI Coding course is written for non-programmers. You learn to describe what you want, review what the AI builds, test it and ship it.

Do I need a Claude subscription?

Yes, you need your own access to Claude Code (or Codex, if you use that). The Academy plan doesn't include AI subscriptions.

Is it only about Claude Code?

No. Claude Code and Codex are covered in the AI Coding course, and the Academy also has courses on AI automation, running client operations in StrideOps, and the sales process for AI services.

Will this make me money?

We don't promise any income. What you earn depends on your skills, your market, the work you put in and plenty outside anyone's control.
