Run Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok on an old Nokia

Set up AIKon with your Nokia, server, certificates and API keys, then enable web search, voice messages and photos.

The short version

AIKon is a free, open source chat app for old Nokia Series 40 and Symbian S60 phones, plus a small Go server that it talks to. You pick a model per chat (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok), type on the keypad, and the answer shows up on the phone's little screen.

•What you need: a Java Nokia (the Nokia 6300 and Nokia E63 are the tested ones), a cheap server with a public IP address, an API key for at least one model provider, and a Mac or Linux computer to build and deploy from.

•What you get: real chats with today's models on a 2007 phone, with web search, photos, voice messages, saved replies and a reading mode.
