Caustic Volume: explore water and light in your browser
How to open the Lite simulator, control its light and waves and run the one-file version locally.
The short version
I would open Lite first, orbit the tank and switch the light before trying the heavier sandbox. Caustic Volume is a free MIT browser experiment with two single-file versions. Its first load uses the internet to fetch three.js. I captured the public Lite demo for the video, but haven't tested every browser or independently benchmarked the simulator.
