Brief a Lyria Soundtrack Around the Actual Edit
How to brief the music around your edit, compare alternative tracks and check the terms before publishing.
The short version
I start with the edit, then write the music brief. Lyria 3.5 in Gemini offers genres, vocal/instrumental styles, templates and track-length choices. The practical task is to compare a real generated track with the actual visual cuts and narration, rather than assuming a timestamp in a prompt becomes an exact musical cue.
I have not independently reproduced this soundtrack test. Google's September 4 app announcement supports the feature; the three-beat exercise below is original. Before publishing any generated music, check the applicable account/output terms and the rights to your input material.
