Clean an Owned Recording with Upflow and Listen for Damaged Speech
How to choose the right cleanup models, compare audio at the same loudness and check for damaged speech.
The short version
I use Upflow's documented audio chain as a starting point for a controlled cleanup, not as a promise that every recording becomes better. First inspect the current owner README and available models. Then process one owned recording through the smallest relevant chain, retain the original and compare both at matched loudness. The useful result is less distraction without losing the words.
I have not independently reproduced this local audio pipeline. The repository documents the workflow; the listening fixture and acceptance sheet below are original. MIT covers the repository code, while optional downloaded models need their own terms checked.
