AlphaGenome Atlas: look up a DNA variant and read its impact score
How to look up a variant, read its impact score, and tell a prediction from a lab result.
The short version
AlphaGenome Atlas is Google DeepMind's map of predicted effects for all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA changes in the human genome. It is free for non-commercial research. For each variant you get molecular effect predictions (gene expression, splicing, chromatin and more, across hundreds of cell types and tissues), one AlphaGenome Variant Impact (AVI) score, and attributions that show which features pushed that score up or down. Every number in it is a model prediction, not a lab result, and it must not be used for medical decisions. I have read the launch post, the API docs and the terms; I have not tested any variant in a lab.
