Turn any book into a skill your AI agent uses
The install, the one command, which books convert well, the token math and the file layout from a real 284-page run.
The short version
github.com/virgiliojr94/book-to-skill (28,536 stars). It is a Claude Code skill. You point it at a PDF, EPUB, Markdown file, folder or glob. A deterministic extractor pulls clean text and detects chapters. Then your agent follows the repo's SKILL.md and writes a new skill: a SKILL.md with the core frameworks and a chapter index, one file per chapter, a glossary, a patterns file and a cheatsheet. Chapter files load only when you ask about that topic.
It works with any host that supports the Agent Skills standard: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot CLI and others.
