career-ops: let Claude screen every job before you apply

Set up the free career-ops job search system in Claude Code, step by step: fit scores out of five, still-open and ghost job checks, a tailored resume and cover letter per job.

The short version

career-ops is a free, open-source job search system that runs inside Claude Code on your own computer. You paste a job link or a job description. It checks the posting is still open, scores how well you fit out of five against your real CV, and tells you to skip anything under 4.0. For the jobs worth it, it tailors your CV into a clean PDF, drafts the cover letter and the application answers, and finds the right person to message. You read everything and you press Submit yourself.

•What it costs: the tool is free and MIT licensed. Claude Code itself needs a paid Claude plan (Pro or above) or API credit. If you want zero cost, the repo documents a free route through Google's Antigravity CLI (see the install table).
