Chatterbox Nano: load it, add a laugh tag, check the watermark
How to load the Nano model, write a line with a laugh tag, and check the speech and its watermark.
The short version
Chatterbox Nano is Resemble AI's smallest text-to-speech model: 110M parameters, English only, MIT licensed. You can put tags like [laugh], [cough] and [chuckle] right between the words, and Resemble says it runs 3x faster than real time on an 8-core CPU, because its audio decoder went from 10 steps to one.
This guide shows you how to load the Nano model (it uses the Turbo loader with nano=True), write a line with a laugh tag, and check the speech and its watermark. I built it from the official README and model card; I have not run it myself, so the speed figure is Resemble's, not mine.
