Run uncensored AI privately on your own PC
Which uncensored models fit your graphics card and how to set up Locally Uncensored step by step.
The short version
Locally Uncensored is a free, open source desktop app that puts four things in one window: a chat assistant, an image and video studio, a coding agent, and an agent that can use tools. In local mode all of it runs on your own computer. No account, no subscription, no usage limits. GitHub counts more than 380,000 downloads of its release files: about 150,000 of those are installers, and most of the rest are the app checking for updates.
•What you need: Windows 10 or 11 (or Linux) and a few gigabytes of free disk per model. For images and video, a graphics card with 6 to 8 GB of video memory or more, ideally NVIDIA.
