PotionUI: check your GPU and make a first local generation

How to check your GPU, run the setup diagnostics and make your first local image, video or music generation.

The short version

I would watch the tour and run Doctor before downloading models. PotionUI is a GPL-3.0 alpha studio for local image, video and audio diffusion workflows. Linux x86_64 with NVIDIA is the tested path; native Windows is experimental. This guide uses the official documentation, and I haven't independently installed or benchmarked generation.
