ReelMimic: build an original animation from a reference

A step-by-step setup guide with requirements, checks and common problems.

The short version

ReelMimic runs a video production workflow through your Claude Code or Codex account. It studies a reference's technique, proposes a storyboard and makes new 2D animation. I would start with a short reference and one simple original scene. I haven't installed or tested it; the steps below follow the official README.
