Play real Minecraft inside Skyrim with SkyCraft
Which game versions you need, how to install and connect Minecraft and Skyrim, and the controls for your first build.
The short version
SkyCraft is a free, open-source mod by Chasm that runs real Minecraft Java beside Skyrim and joins them into one game. Minecraft handles your movement, blocks and inventory. Skyrim keeps its world, quests and characters. You can place and break blocks in Skyrim, use Minecraft weapons on Skyrim NPCs, and blow things up with TNT.
What you need: Skyrim Special Edition on PC, a Minecraft Java account you own, and a mod manager (MO2 or Vortex). What you get: Minecraft building and combat inside your Skyrim save. It's experimental, so play on a copy of your save. I'm walking you through the creator's own instructions here, not a setup I've tested on my machine.
