Skylos: make Claude Code prove its functions exist

How to choose a supported check, inspect a flagged reference, and interpret an incomplete result.

The short version

Skylos is a free, open-source scanner that checks every function your code calls actually exists, without running the code. It's plain static analysis, not AI checking the AI. By the end you'll have it installed and tested on a tiny project with two planted fake calls, wired into Claude Code with five hooks, and you'll know exactly what a pass, fail or incomplete result means. It's for anyone who lets Claude Code write Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go or Java.
