Turn your photos or video into a 3D scan
Set up Spirula Studio, capture your photos or video, and create your first 3D scene.
The short version
Spirula Studio is a free, open source app that turns ordinary photos or a phone video into a 3D Gaussian splat: a scene you can fly around in, render to video or turn into a textured mesh. Everything happens in one app. No Python, no PyTorch, no separate COLMAP install.
•What you need: a Windows, Linux or Mac computer with a GPU that supports Vulkan. NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and Apple Silicon all work.
•What you get: a 3D scan of a room, object or outdoor scene, viewable in the app or in a browser, plus image and video renders and an optional mesh.
•How to start: look at finished scans in the browser first (free, nothing to install), then download the app (under 60 MB) and try a short video of one object.
