Window Sweaters: give your Mac windows knitted borders

How to install Window Sweaters, dress individual apps and tune the borders for your screen.

The short version

I would try this on two apps, choose a style, then decide whether to dress the whole desktop. Window Sweaters is a free GPLv3 Mac app with 37 custom app designs. It supports macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel. The creator tested Apple Silicon on macOS 26 more directly than older systems. I haven't independently installed it; this guide follows the official README.
