Stack every free AI tier behind one API
Get your free keys, install the FreeLLMAPI router, connect your app, and add a paid fallback.
The short version
FreeLLMAPI is a free, open-source router you run on your own computer. Add keys from providers you already use, connect an app to one local endpoint, and the router can try another eligible provider when one hits its limit. Your prompts still go to the selected provider.
I'd start with two providers and one small prompt. You don't need to create thirty accounts or buy the live catalog to find out whether this helps you.
I checked this walkthrough against the project's current documentation on September 20, 2026, and added sections 6 and 7 on September 21. I haven't independently reproduced live provider failover or a paid fallback; the video shows the project's README, docs and catalog, not a completed inference test.
